To make a strong decision around which campaigns are right for your company, we sat down with a panel of marketing strategists from Square 2 and talked it out.

Here’s a high-level overview of how we see the difference between the types of campaigns available today:
- Inbound: Inbound marketing campaigns earn attention with educational content designed to attract your target personas to your business. These people are looking for products and services like yours.
- Outbound: Outbound marketing campaigns push your message out directly to people who could be your target persona but have not expressed any interest or need.
- Demand Generation: Demand generation campaigns place your message and your educational content in front of people who potentially look like your target persona.
- ABM: Account-based marketing campaigns send your message and educational content to specific people at specific companies with whom you want to do business.
During the show, the team of experts and I went into depth around when to use these campaigns, what expectations come with each campaign type, the data and privacy issues coming up these days and the investments required to move these campaigns forward.
