Rethink The Way You Publish Content On Your Website – Introducing Square 2+
Your resource section on your website is toast – it’s done. It never worked well anyway.
Today, progressive companies are looking at Netflix, Hulu and Amazon streaming services as the model for creating content hubs that drive people to come back to your website for engaging educational content.
It makes sense for businesses to start looking at consumer entertainment streaming sites for cues on how to curate, distribute and get engagement with content.
Your favorite B2B companies are taking similar approaches. HubSpot bought The Hustle and Salesforce worked with Disney to create Salesforce+.
You should be considering a similar approach to how you create, store, share and leverage content to drive website visitors, engagement, prospects, leads and sales opportunities for our company. One of our core values is Practice What You Preach. How can we sit here and tell you to build a streaming platform to replace the resources section of your website without doing it for ourselves?
Welcome to Square 2+, our new content portal that’s free to everyone and designed to look exactly like a streaming service.
Square 2+ was designed with our audience in mind.
People have been watching our videos on YouTube and listening to our podcasts on iTunes. Now they have both in one place.
Square 2 attracts a wide variety of interest from a wide variety of roles in the companies we serve. To support different people with different needs, Square 2+ has different channels for CEOs, CROs, CMOs, heads of the customer service teams and sales leaders.
These individual channels are filled with content designed specifically for their roles, responsibilities and challenges.
Today, technology plays such a major role in a company’s ability to execute that a technology channel was a no-brainer. All our HubSpot, marketing, sales and revenue operations content will reside in the technology channel.
Now people can get access to all our podcasts, videocasts, videos and recorded live content like What’s Wrong With Revenue? and our HubSpot office hours on Square 2+.
People can subscribe to Square 2+, and when we post new content, they’ll get notified via email. It’s just like when Netflix posts new shows we’re all notified via email.
Our goal is to add new content to the site weekly, but in some cases, it might be more frequent. Over the next couple of months, we’ll be adding new channels, new series and new shows. We’ll also be improving the subscriber experience so you can opt-in for specific series or channels.
With the changes in privacy rules around email, one of our objectives is for people to opt-in for specific streams. Instead of us emailing everyone about everything, now people can decide what they want to see in their inboxes.
Interested in HubSpot product updates? That’s all we’ll send. Want to know when new episodes of What’s Wrong With Revenue? are out? That’s all we’ll send. Want to know when new content is added to the CEO channel? You got it.
It’s a more personalized, more efficient and more directed way for us to share content with all of you. To learn more, head on over to Square 2+. You can check it out and subscribe. If you have any questions, comments, feedback or ideas, please don’t hesitate to share those with us too.
